Hansal Mehta Dismisses Claims Of Not Being On Good Terms With Kangana Ranaut After Simran; Asks: 'Disagreements Mean Not On Good Terms?'
A Twitter user asked Hansal Mehta if he is not on good terms with Kangana Ranaut post Simran and this is what the filmmaker replied
Kangana Ranaut has been making exposive tweets ever since she has officially joined the platform. She has been responding to many celebrities as well as fans over various things. Amidst this, a Twitter user asked Hansal Mehta if he is not on good terms with Kangana Ranaut who has worked with the filmmaker in the film, Simran. On the same note, the filmmaker, Hansal Mehta dismissed all the speculations of he being ‘not on good terms’ with the actress by simply asking a question. A Twitter user asked him about his equation with Kangana, he counter-questioned him by asking how ‘disagreements’ became an indication of a fallout.
This all started when Hansal had praised Mumbai in a tweet, saying that one ‘could spew venom on it but it will still welcome you with open arms.’ His tweet read, "You know what's special about my city Bombay/Mumbai? You could spew venom on it but it will still welcome you with open arms. Learn magnanimity from this city." While he did not take any names, it seemed to be hinting at one of the Kangana's tweets where she had compared the city to Pakistan occupied Kashmir.
This compelled a Twitter user to ask his equation with the actor and asked, “@mehtahansal you worked with kangana in simran. Not on good terms with her anymore?” In response to his question, Hansal replied, “Disagreements mean not on good terms?”

Earlier, during the release of Simran, rumours were rife that Hansal faced some troubles with Ranaut while shooting. Replying to that, he wrote in a statement on his Twitter handle which read “I chose to remain silent before the film released because there was no way I could sabotage a film that had the efforts of so many people at stake. I chose to remain silent after the release because I was relieved that the film was finally out and I did not want to re-live what I had endured. I had to move on for my own sanity.”
